Visit to V CARE

  ACTION !!!!!

I'ts their planet too.....save the animals...

Students of Prep Senior visited  V CARE ( Vadodara Center for Animal Rescue and Emergency ) on 19th October 2016  to hand over the funds collected by the  Pre primary section during the World Animal Week by putting up a sale of magnets, bags, envelopes etc made by our children.

The mission of V CARE is to care for animals that are helpless/stray/ unwanted or diseased animals. They spread awareness and promote kindness towards animals and birds. Students saw animals like dogs, cows, donkeys, rabbits, and cats etc that were either injured or diseased.  They developed the attitude of empathy and compassion towards these animals and understood the importance of looking after them.

Wet & Wonderful!!!

WET & WONDERFUL !!!
Nice weather brings ample opportunities for fun and learning!!
Water play is one of the most relaxing activities children can experience and is both enjoyable and educational. The water play was perfect for a hot day that called for cooling off...
Dressed in their swimming attires students eagerly splashed and sploshed and had a whale of a time with their peers in the pool. They played and shared various toys thus enhancing their social skills and developing the attitude of cooperation.

Assembly Presentation

Our students of Prep Senior showcased their confidence and enthusiasm as they used Arts as a platform for their assembly presentation based on the IB Learner Profiles. In the PYP, Arts are identified as dance, drama, music and visual arts. The IB Learner Profile is integral to teaching and learning Arts in the PYP because it represents the qualities of effective learners and internationally minded students.
Students enacted short stories, recited a rhyme and danced to a peppy number which were related to the IB Learner Profiles. They developed the PYP Attitudes of confidence, cooperation and appreciation.
Our little spectators of Nursery and Prep Junior were completely engaged and thoroughly enjoyed the presentation as they got a better understanding of the IB Learner Profiles.
